Membrane Core is free to start and pay-as-you-go tier that gives individual developers, early-stage startups, and AI builders free access to Membrane platform features.

The best thing about it? You can start on this plan with no credit card required or time limits. If you are an individual developer, bootstrapped company or simply want to explore the Membrane experience, this is an accessible way to build your first integrations.

What is Membrane?

Membrane is AI for product integrations. Instead of spending weeks wrestling with APIs, authentication flows, and edge cases, you describe what integration you need and watch it build itself. Our AI agent & infrastructure generate production-ready code that you own and control.

The problem we’re solving is simple: integration platforms don’t work. They either lack the depth needed for production use or lock you into proprietary systems without code ownership. 3. Managed Authentication: OAuth flows, API keys, token refresh, our Engine handles the auth complexity so you can focus on what your integration actually does.

4. Actions & Monitoring: Membrane core supports Action generation for any API on the internet (e.g get contacts from Attio or sync invoices from Xero). Build actions that call external APIs, and monitor everything with built-in observability. Know exactly what’s happening with your integrations, or Membrane Agent sessions.

5. 20 AI Credits per Month: You get free credits to test and use Membrane agent to generate and refine your integrations. Need more? Add more credits at $1 each directly in your billing portal.

6. 20,000 Action Runs per Month: That’s 20,000 API calls, webhook triggers, or automated actions — enough to build and test real integrations, not just toy examples.

7. AI & in-app support: Get help from our AI assistant and in-app support. Documentation, examples, and real answers when you need them in our docs.

If you wish to upgrade and want the full power of the Membrane platform, advanced functionality and hands-on support from our expert team, you can go for the Business or Enterprise plans.

Business: $3,000/month (platform + support fee) + per active customer fee

For product teams wanting to scale their integrations infrastructure. Includes everything in Core plus advanced features like Data Collections, Events, Flows, Field Mappings, Universal Integrations, 200 AI credits/month, real-time support with SLAs, on-prem add-on for deployment and architecture guidance from our expert team. Per-customer usage fees are always capped and tailored to your margins.

How to get started

First, go to console.getmembrane.com and create your free account.

1. Start by connecting your product to Membrane in Your Product → Membrane Setup menu

2. Choose your type of integration experience. If you want to grow your integration catalogue, give your AI agent capabilities to integrate with customer-facing apps

3. Go to Home dashboard. Start interacting with Membrane Agent to build the integration use cases you want

Membrane agent can build integrations with any public API and can create Actions, or simple operations with the API under the Core plan

(Optional) Go to Billing to check your status in AI credits or buying additional ones
